Any produce grower, person, or organization may become
a member of the association. Types of membership and
qualifications are listed below—
a. Listed Membership: Any grower
of agricultural products in Clackamas, Multnomah, or
Washington counties, at least 50 percent of whose
total sales shall be produced by said growers in said
counties, and including all members-of-record on the
199l Tri-County Farm Fresh Food Guide
(grandfather-clause), shall be eligible for listed
membership provided their membership application is
approved by the Board of Directors and the member
agrees to abide by the Articles of Incorporation and
these bylaws. Listed members may have their farm
listed in the Farm Fresh Produce Guide, as well as
receive mailings, attend meetings, serve on
committees, and vote.
b. Sustaining Membership: A
listed grower may discontinue his/her listing in the
Farm Fresh Produce Guide but continue to receive
mailings, attend meetings, serve on committees, and
vote. A sustaining member who wishes to reinstate to
listed membership may do so without paying a new
membership fee.
c. Associate Membership: A person
or organization may be a member of Tri-County Farm
Fresh Foods, Inc. without being listed in the Guide.
Associate members may not vote or serve on
committees, but would receive mailings and may attend
member meetings. Associate members need not be
producers as described for listed membership.
Membership Fee: Upon
admission each member shall pay a membership fee
as established by the members at the January
meeting. Such fees shall be transferred to an
operating budget and are non-refundable.
Membership Certificate: A membership certificate
may be issued to each member of this corporation. The membership certificate
shall contain the member's name, the name and address of the corporation
and shall state that the member is entitled to all the rights, benefits,
and privileges of the association. It shall carry a date of issuance
and shall be signed by an officer of the association.
