Oregon Upick Farms
Oregon local farms provides a community resource for the whole family
by supplying locally grown produce, raised meats and farm products.
For a very fun and exciting outing or if you are looking for only the
best ingredients you should find a grower in your local area. Many of
the growers have everything you need at the location, just show up however
and have a great time. Please be sure to call ahead for a listing of
what is available.
You can pick your own fruits and vegetables at many of the farms.
Sometimes, you will want to have your own containers and other times
when you pick you can use containers provided by the farm.
Upick is a great way to save money and have a day out too. Depending
upon how much you plan to pick you may need to bring your little pickers
too.
Canning is something you can do if you have way too much to eat before
it will spoil. Canning is something that everyone used to do and a few
still do.
